Reef Walls at Edgewater, FL
Mangrove Reef Walls collaborated with Riverside Conservancy to create panels that address the issue of hardened shorelines in Central Florida. Water quality and habitat degradation are areas of concern that threaten coastal livelihoods associated with fishing and recreational activities on waterways. Living seawalls could create reef habitats that support a variety of marine biological communities that underpin the environment and economy.
